Post-natal exercise classes?
I’ve just been through childbirth, all I want to do is rest and look after my baby!
At Movement and Bloom, we understand how it feels to have just had a baby. We’ve had several ourselves. We know that post-natal exercise classes may seem like the last thing you want to do after carrying a small person inside your tummy for nine months, going through childbirth and now getting up most nights to feed, change and settle your little bundle of joy.
Movement and Bloom post-natal fitness classes, though, are not your average classes.
You don’t have to worry about childcare or leaving your child at home because we encourage you to bring your baby along (we’ll be upset if you don’t!) and the whole session is as much a social activity as it is a fitness class.
You’ll be so busy interacting with other mums and bonding with your baby that you’ll barely even notice that instructor Natalie is working your body from the inside out and making sure you feel great about your body again.
Our post-natal fitness class is a mix of cardio, strength and core exercises on the floor and on a mat. The exercises focus on rebuilding strength in your core and pelvic floor, as well as increasing flexibility, toning arms, core, calves and buns.
Classes have a particular focus on core stability and pelvic floor training – the muscles you need to take care of your growing baby.
